Voiko Breath of the Wild 2:ssa pelata Zeldalla?

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild II voitaneen lukea kesän E3-messujen yllätyksiin. Nintendo julkisti pelin olevan kehityksessä oman E3-esityksensä lopuksi.

Nähdyn pätkän perusteella Zelda itse näyttää erilaiselta hiustyylistä alkaen. Tämä on herättänyt ajatuksen, voisiko Zelda olla jatko-osan pelattava hahmo. Tuottaja Eiji Aonuma suostui puhumaan asiasta Kotakun Jason Schreierille. Aonuma väisti kysymyksen kokonaan.

Aonuma: "A lot of people have been asking that, and so I want to ask you, why do people think that?"
Schreier: "Well it seems like it'd make sense, because at the end of Breath of the Wild she was freed, so now she can be a protagonist. Also, I think people have wanted it for a long time."
Aonuma: "I see. [laughs] But I can't tell you."
