Esports organisation 100 Thieves will be turning their own Cash App sponsored Compound into a voting centre from October 30. The centre, which is 15,000 square-feet in size will be open as a voting site until November 3, on the US Election Day.

Reported by The Verge, the organisation has also partnered with a graffiti artist known as Slick, to create a temporary artwork on the building that currently reads "vote," and will become "we voted" on November 2.

Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag commented on the move to The Verge saying; "Ever since we put down roots in this pocket of Los Angeles with the opening of the 100 Thieves Cash App Compound at the beginning of the year, we've been looking for ways to give back to the community."

This development seeing esports teams become more involved with politics comes after several democratic politicians looked to gaming as a way to reach younger audiences. You can check out our story on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Twitch stream and Joe Biden's Animal Crossing: New Horizons island.
